National Nutrition Month with Noosheen Hashemi CEO January AI and Carolyn O’Neil RDN CES 2025 Highlights
This was our Seventh CES 2025 Highlights show. We honored the National Month of Nutrition, National RDN Day and International Women’s Day.
Linda met both Carolyn and Noosheen at their excellent CES Nutrition panel.
Carolyn O’Neil RDN provided an introduction to the topic of nutrition. She stressed the need for variety, moderation, and balance in diet. She addressed special nutrition concerns as we age. Carolyn is a nutrition commentator for CNN, Forbes and others.
Noosheen Hashemi introduced January AI’s Digital Health glucose prediction app, which has a 54-million-item food database. The app, available for only $50 annually (with a free version as well), offers personalized nutrition advice and predicts glucose responses. Noosheen explained the history of the app development with January co-founder Dr. Mike Snyder. Extensive research has been done and continues.
Both speakers agreed on the importance of understanding individual body responses and the role of processed and inflammatory foods in health management.
Recorded on March 13, 2025, this episode is part of our Nutrition as well as our CES Highlights Series. Speakers are listed in their order of appearance.
