In this Project Updates episode several of our participants were exhibitors or enthusiastic attendees of CES 2023.
Laura Powell from Neocis Dental Robotics presented Yomi, an FDA-cleared robotic system for dental surgery, highlighting its benefits in minimizing invasive procedures and improving patient outcomes.
Ken Deering from iGuard Home Solutions introduced a device that prevents kitchen fires by automatically turning off gas or electric stoves if left unattended for too long.
John O’Brien from HealthCraft Products explained Invisia, a line of aesthetically pleasing grab bars that address installation challenges.
Carol Chiang praised the shampoo shelf and other Invisia products, emphasizing their beauty and functionality.
Benjamin Surmi introduced Mandy Solomon and Mentia.
Mandy Salomon from Mentia discussed a new grant to use virtual worlds for training caregivers, focusing on person-centered care.
Ravi Joseph Kota from AITCare shared a non-invasive AI system for monitoring seniors in assisted living facilities.
