Ellen Khalifa says:
I’m sorry to miss the Japanese toilet discussion. They are popular now in most Muslim countries for folks who have the resources. And the toilet seat bidets are found in most of the Sudanese homes here in the Bay Area, a big improvement over the watering cans next to the toilet that were used previously. We have one in all 3 bathrooms now.
The U.S. has long been behind many other countries in the use of toilet hygiene. But I’ve noticed more and more people I know installing toilet seat bidets for hygienic or religious reasons. As older people are at increased risk of UTI’s, this is one simple home modification that might be effective.
