Benjamin Surmi, Social Gerontologist and Koelsch Communities executive, gave us a 10 minute summary of a recent one hour presentation he made on global dementia initiatives. There are innovations in living choices, parks and products. Benjamin went country by country including Japan and Sweden.
Jen Flexman from Moneta Health introduced their AI-powered program for early cognitive impairment, showing 93% of participants maintained or improved cognitive function over 30 days.
Tavis Schriefer presented teleCalm, a phone service that blocks problematic calls and protects seniors from scams, serving over 750 senior living communities.
