Ryan Herd from Caregiver Smart Solutions discussed the importance of Smart Home technology for aging in place, highlighting voice-controlled toilets and showers. Parm Sarmadi from Toi Labs introduced TrueLoo, a toilet seat that tracks toileting changes to detect anomalies, improving health outcomes. Craig Misrach presented Uplyft, an FDA-registered bedside transfer system that helps with patient transfers, reducing caregiver injuries. Dhaval Patel introduced Lotus, a wearable ring that controls home devices without rewiring. Carol Chang gave her action oriented Occupational Therapist perspective on the three products introduced.
