Parkinson’s Products with Joe & Bella, Steadiwear, NexStride and Carol Chiang OT
This episode focused on products and solutions for Parkinson’s Disease and essential tremor. Emile from Steadiwear discussed the Steady 2 device, which helps manage tremors with features like weight reduction, affordability, and interchangeability. The device has a 60% success rate in reducing tremors by up to 80%.
Sidney highlighted NexStride’s effectiveness in treating freezing of gait in Parkinson’s patients. NexStride is a customizable device that can attach onto any cane, walker, walking pole. It provides both visual and auditory cues and can be completely customized to each person.
